Alexander Pollich, previously Managing Director of Porsche Cars Great Britain, will become the new Managing Director of the German sales organisation on July 15, 2018.

His predecessor, Jens Puttfarcken (53), will be taking over as the Managing Director of Porsche China and Porsche Hong Kong from July 1, 2018. Karsten Sohns will assume management of the German market on an interim basis. Pollich will be succeeded in Great Britain on July 15, 2018 by Marcus Eckermann (50), previously Managing Director of Porsche's sales organisation for Central and Eastern Europe.

"Alexander Pollich, Jens Puttfarcken and Marcus Eckermann have gained many years of experience in our sales organisation. They will continue to successfully develop the Porsche brand in these important markets", explained Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board responsible for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG. "Giving our sales managers the opportunity to experience different jurisdictions and develop ensures that we achieve our strategic objectives and that expertise is shared."

Alexander Pollich has been head of the British sales organisation since the start of 2018 following more than four years in the same role at Porsche Cars Canada. Before that, he was Vice President Sales Network Management and Development.
