Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi renews its trust in GROUPE CAT

Aug 7, 2020   Supply Chain

On 31 July 2020, the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance reiterated its trust in the Groupe CAT for the distribution of vehicles in France and Belgium.

This three-year contract covers a volume of 350,000 vehicles per year.

In France, Groupe CAT continues to manage the port management of vehicles produced abroad and their national distribution from Le Havre, Montoir-de-Bretagne and Sète.

The group goes on ensuring the distribution of vehicles in France, particularly strengthening its position in Paris area and in the eastern part of the country.

In Belgium, all port management in Antwerp will be carried out by the group, as well as all compound and distribution operations from Seneffe. This includes the preparation as well as the storage and all the associated services offered by Groupe CAT in the Benelux.

This agreement also extends to international flows, as Groupe CAT continues the distribution of Spanish production from the Palencia and Valladolid factories to France. The same applies to the flows from the Sandouville factory (Le Havre, France) to Benelux.

In addition to maintaining these activities, the Alliance is now entrusting Groupe CAT with the entire distribution of its iconic product, Clio, produced in the Novo Mesto factory in Slovenia and dedicated for the French market.

For Edoardo Cumino, Sales Director: "After signing the contract for distribution in Germany early this year, we are very satisfied to have been selected again by the Alliance for distribution in France and Benelux. Thanks to our extensive European network, our complete service offer and multimodal transport, the Groupe CAT represents a real asset for the optimization of our customers' logistics.”
